Cancellation Policy and Cancellation Form for Consumers

“Consumer,” as defined in this cancellation policy, means any natural person who enters into a legal transaction for purposes that are predominantly neither commercial nor related to their self-employed professional activity.

Right of Withdrawal

You have the right to withdraw from this contract within 30 days without giving any reason.

The withdrawal period is 30 days from the day on which you, or a third party designated by you (other than the carrier), took possession of the last item.

To exercise your right of withdrawal, you must notify us (SKeld - Schneidemesser, Owner: Alexander Mettke, Am Rathausring 5, 74889, Sinsheim, Germany, email address: support@skeld.co, phone number: 004915223897997) of your decision to withdraw from this contract by means of a clear statement (e.g., a letter sent by mail or an email).

You may also exercise your right of withdrawal online using our withdrawal form. To access this form, please use our “Withdrawal Button,” which is located in the footer of every page on the domain https://skeld.co. If you use this online feature, we will immediately send you a confirmation of receipt on a durable medium (e.g., via email) containing information about the content of the withdrawal notice as well as the date and time of its receipt.

You may also fill out the model withdrawal form or another unambiguous statement electronically on our website https://skeld.co/pages/widerrufsrecht. You have the option to print or save your completed form as a PDF and then send it to us via email. If you make use of this option, we will immediately send you (e.g., via email) a confirmation of receipt of such a notice of withdrawal.

To meet the withdrawal deadline, it is sufficient for you to send your notification of exercising your right of withdrawal before the withdrawal period expires.

Consequences of Withdrawal

If you withdraw from this contract, we will refund to you all payments we have received from you, including delivery costs (with the exception of any additional costs resulting from your choice of a delivery method other than the least expensive standard delivery option we offer), without undue delay and no later than fourteen days from the day on which we receive notice of your withdrawal from this contract. We will use the same payment method you used for the original transaction for this refund, unless expressly agreed otherwise with you; in no event will you be charged any fees in connection with this refund.

We may withhold the refund until we have received the goods back or until you have provided proof that you have returned the goods, whichever comes first.

You must return or hand over the goods to us without delay and, in any case, no later than fourteen days from the day on which you notify us of your withdrawal from this contract. The deadline is met if you ship the goods before the fourteen-day period expires.

You are responsible for the direct costs of returning the goods.

You are only liable for any loss in value of the goods if this loss in value is attributable to handling of the goods that goes beyond what is necessary to assess their nature, characteristics, and functionality.

Exclusion or Premature Termination of the Right of Withdrawal

• The statutory right of withdrawal does not apply to consumers who, at the time of conclusion of the contract and delivery, have their domicile, habitual residence, or delivery address outside a member state of the European Union (EU) or the European Economic Area (EEA) and are not nationals of an EU or EEA member state.
  

Voluntary Return Policy for Consumers Residing in Switzerland

• We grant consumers with permanent residence in Switzerland a voluntary return policy of 30 days from receipt of the goods. You must contact us in advance to arrange a return. We will then provide a return label, which must be used for the return. The customer is responsible for the return shipping costs. We charge a flat fee of €15.00 for the return label, which will be deducted from the refund amount. When using our return label, there are no additional costs for re-import duties or import sales tax.
• If the return is made without our return label, the customer is responsible for all costs incurred as a result, in particular re-import duties, import sales tax, and other customs and processing fees. These will be deducted from the refund amount. Return shipping costs arranged independently will not be reimbursed.
• Upon receipt and inspection of the returned merchandise, we will refund the purchase price minus the flat fee for the return label and, if applicable, a reasonable deduction due to use, damage, soiling, or an incomplete return of the merchandise beyond the scope of a normal inspection.

Exercising this voluntary right of return does not affect your statutory warranty rights.

Information on Returning Goods

• The information provided in this section does not constitute a prerequisite for the effective exercise of the right of withdrawal.
• Please do not send the goods to us with shipping charges unpaid.
• Please return the goods as a prepaid package to the specified return address and keep the shipping receipt.
• Please avoid damaging or soiling the goods.
• If possible, please return the goods to us in their original packaging and outer packaging, including all accessories and packaging components. If you no longer have the original packaging or outer packaging, you should use other suitable packaging to ensure adequate protection against damage during transit and to avoid any claims for damages resulting from defective packaging.
